Outdoor Activities to do with your children this summer

Summer is about being outside and maybe having fun at the local pool or playing with friends in the neighborhood. Here's a list of fun things, besides going to the pool, that you might want to try this summer.

1. Visit a water park
2. Bike ride in your neighborhood or find a local trail
3. Hike at a local trail
4. Create an warrior course in your backyard with stuff around the house or visit the sporting department at your local store - great birthday party idea, too!
5. Make a lemonade stand 
6. Learn a new sport, like tennis - or make a new sport of your own
7. Have a picnic at your local playground
8. Go camping in the backyard
9. Have a BBQ and make smores
10. Design an outdoor scavenger/treasure hunt with friends
11. Sidewalk chalk on the driveway
12. Set up a sprinkler obstacle course or incorporate the sprinklers in the warrior course mentioned above
13. Build a fort
14. Catch fireflies at night
15. Take a walk to your favorite place for ice cream or snow cone or ices - anything to cool off after that walk!​
